Hainan : A new found Golf Haven in China
Hainan island is the southern-most point of China. Lying just east of the Gulf of Tonkin and directly above the bulge of central Vietnam, it gained much publicity of late for staging the Miss Universe pageant in its much touted southern coastal city of Sanya which, apart from having some of the best golf courses in southern China, is famous for its prestine beaches and thus also often referred to as the Hawaii of China.
The island is popular with local and foreign tourists alike not only for its warm weather and lovely beaches with coral reefs, but also for its hot springs, lush greenery and natural scenic beauty, one of which is the famous Yalong Bay National Resort.
